Sargodha Pakistan April 23 – Day 1

I am on the road right now traveling west to Sargodha. We have about a 4hr drive.
Taking in the scenery it is amazing to see how much beautiful land is here and how the majority is used for agriculture.  The poverty is amazing and heart breaking all at the same time. Mud huts, decimated apartment buildings, clutter the side of the streets. But the 2 things that r everywhere are Mosques and animals! Mosque is their way of life and animals are their way of income.  Both are vital means of survival!  Its amazing that they will truly die for their god, Allah.  So they build nice mosques in the middle of no where just to have a place to worship.  Then the sirens come on 5 times a day to remind everyone to stop and pray. And we Christians can’t stop watching TV long enough to say thank you to the Living God who loved us so much that He freely gave us His son. Now that is Amazing. The Holy Spirit lives in our hearts and most may not even realize it.
You can certainly sense the darkness out here. But God is with us, He is our shield and our protector!  He has already gone before us!!
